Support Guide for Law Students
Law students are not immune from the problems of the world. You may experience issues relating to alcohol or substance abuse, bereavement, family problems, mental or physical health difficulties, domestic violence, financial need, or other realities of life. Many students experience stress and anxiety in the rigorous academic environment of law school; others find that previously undiscovered disabilities are imposing limits on their academic performance.
If you have a problem that affects or may affect your ability to perform in law school, please bring it to our attention as soon as possible. Academic Support Director Nancy Luebbert and Associate Dean Richard Seamon are always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and refer you to other resources. We will work with you to craft strategies or accommodations appropriate to your individual circumstances. All communications are held in confidence to the fullest extent of the law.
