College of Law Career Development

The Career Development Office (CDO) functions as a liaison between students and prospective employers. It is also responsible for a variety of activities to facilitate students' career planning and assist in their employment search as summer clerks or for permanent positions. The CDO is open each school day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted.

The office maintains its own resource library. Handouts that address various aspects of career planning are also available. Individual counseling, assistance with resume preparation, job search strategy and interview assistance are available. The CDO also sponsors seminars and workshops to aid students as they develop their career plans. On-campus interviews are scheduled and coordinated through the CDO and files are maintained on employers who cannot visit the school but have indicated a desire to recruit.
